Andriy’s activities in civic sector began from the renewal of the scout movement in Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and his engagement in development of volunteer movement and civic education. He coordinated numerous international programs aimed at youth development, strengthening youth organizations’ capacity and implementation of youth initiatives. Starting from 2005 until this day, Andriy has worked for SALTO EECA, the centre that grants unique opportunities for growth of youth organizations and develops inter-sectoral cooperation with the purpose of increasing the impact of NGOs over the formation of youth policy in the countries of its operation. Since 2019 Andriy is involved in the EU4Youth Coordination and Support Project.
